Titanium dioxide is the core white pigment in coating systems, mainly divided into rutile and anatase crystal types, and is a key material that endows coatings with high hiding power, whiteness and weather resistance. Rutile titanium dioxide has a dense crystal structure, high refractive index, excellent weather resistance and anti-yellowing performance, and is mostly used in outdoor scenarios such as exterior wall coatings and industrial paints; anatase titanium dioxide has good whiteness performance and relatively low cost, suitable for scenarios with low weather resistance requirements such as interior wall coatings and primers.
Lotion is the film-forming substance of coatings and the core component that determines the adhesion, water resistance, scrub resistance and durability of the coating. According to the monomer composition, it can be divided into styrene-acrylic emulsion, pure acrylic emulsion, silicone-acrylic emulsion, fluorocarbon emulsion, etc. Among them, styrene-acrylic emulsion has high cost performance and is mostly used in interior wall latex paint; pure acrylic emulsion has balanced weather resistance and is suitable for ordinary exterior wall coatings; silicone-acrylic/fluorocarbon emulsions have excellent weather resistance and stain resistance, and are mostly used in high-end exterior walls, elastic coatings and special functional coatings.
Colorant (Pigment Dispersion) is a high-concentration coloring system made of pigments through dispersion technology, mainly divided into water-based colorants, solvent-based colorants and general-purpose colorants, used to provide stable and uniform color performance for coatings. According to application scenarios, it can be divided into interior wall-specific colorants, exterior wall-specific colorants and special functional colorants. Interior wall colorants focus on color brightness and environmental protection, while exterior wall colorants focus on enhancing weather resistance and UV resistance to avoid fading and blooming of coatings after long-term use.
